Chiropractor

After working for 6 years in various surgical departments as a surgical assistant, I fortunately discovered the healing power of manual treatments. For many years, I had suffered from severe back pain. It wasn’t until I received intensive chiropractic care that all my symptoms improved. Firsthand, I witnessed with fascination the innate intelligence of the body beginning to heal my ailments from the inside out. All of this was done through extremely gentle and precise corrections—called adjustments—of vertebrae in my spine that enabled my body to heal itself.
My philosophy today is to begin treatment before a problem occurs. Even if there are no symptoms, we should check our bodies regularly to prevent pain and misalignment. I decided to study chiropractic and completed a five-year-long bilingual Master of Chiropractic at the Barcelona College of Chiropractic, where, among other things, I was trained in a gentle and precise adjustment technique called MLS Adjusting.
I am convinced that with my work, I can not only help your body get rid of pain but also provide preventive support by aiding it in stabilising itself from the root upwards.
What does health mean to you? What is a healthy person?
A healthy state is generally one in which we don’t have to think about health at all. The body feels well and can regenerate quickly. It has enough flexibility and resources to adapt to environmental stressors. This gives us the power to really strive for what we want to realise in our lives.
What is the magic of chiropractic in your eyes? Why do you love this system?
Western medicine generally follows a fairly mechanistic view of health, in which symptoms and body systems are viewed in isolation from one another. In reality, however, the whole body is a large, interdependent whole in which everything interacts with each other. Chiropractic unites what seems separate to us. It opens up seemingly closed systems and understands them again in their dependence and interaction with all the other systems in our body. In chiropractic, the body is again reintegrated as a whole.
What is your goal when you meet a patient? Where do you want to help them get to?
Most of the time, people come to me with specific complaints. The first goal is, of course, always to get the patient out of suffering and back into a symptom-free state. From a chiropractic perspective, this can only be achieved through structural balance. This means restoring the body’s internal balance and alignment so that the entire system finds a state of harmony and stability. In essence, however, this symptom-free state is the body’s basic natural state, from which we can grow and develop. Health is not about reaching a static, symptom-free state but about re-enabling growth and dynamic development in a person.Interview
1. What led you to chiropractic?
I experienced severe back pain from a young age, mainly caused by excessive sports and overuse. At the time, I was diagnosed with Scheuermann’s disease by orthopedic doctors, which led to chronic pain in my thoracic spine. Over the years, many different — and unfortunately often incorrect — treatment approaches were tried, but none brought lasting relief.
Later, while working in the operating room, my symptoms worsened significantly and began to impact my daily life. A turning point came during a stay at a hospital in Switzerland: there, for the very first time, I received proper chiropractic treatment — and for the first time, I felt real improvement.
That experience was a defining moment for me. I knew immediately: this is the path I want to follow. I decided to study chiropractic at one of the best universities in Europe and to dedicate my life to helping others — just as I had been helped.
2. What is your understanding today of health? What constitutes a healthy individual?
To me, health means that the body is capable of maintaining its own balance. A healthy body is marked by stability and consistency, without major fluctuations in well-being. It is highly resilient, yet also mentally flexible and adaptable.
A healthy individual ages slowly and experiences minimal physical discomfort. Most importantly, one should be able to do anything one wants, without being restricted by pain or physical limitations.
This is the ultimate goal I aim to help all of my patients achieve — no matter their age. I want them to feel comfortable in their bodies and empowered to live life to the fullest.
3. Why do patients come to your practice?
My own experience with spinal issues as a teenager sparked an early passion for understanding the connection between the spine and overall health. This personal motivation continues to drive me to this day: During my studies, I worked twice as hard as my fellow students to achieve the very best possible outcomes for my future patients.
Even now, I strive for excellence every single day, continuously pursue advanced training, and place the highest value on thoroughness and precision in every treatment. Along the way, I have made it a point to learn from the very best in the field and to consistently integrate this knowledge into my work. I have dedicated my entire professional life to this mission — and my patients can clearly feel that when they come to see me.
4. What makes chiropractic so special for you?
What fascinates me is that with just a few precise adjustments, you can often achieve remarkable treatment results. Chiropractic care allows for the effective treatment of a wide range of neurological and orthopedic conditions. At the same time, it is highly efficient, fast, and far more cost-effective compared to surgeries or medication-based therapies. What is especially important to me is the natural approach: no additional medications are needed — the body is supported in its own ability to heal.
5. How do you perceive your role as a therapist?
For me, it is essential to encourage my patients to take an active role in managing their own health. I also aim to offer new perspectives: in my view, chiropractic care should be considered the gold standard for many of the complaints that patients come in with.
On a broader level, our society needs a shift toward a more sustainable approach to caring for the body. Preventive treatment should become a natural part of life, rather than waiting until wear and tear has already occurred. I want to inspire my patients to embrace greater personal responsibility for their own well-being — and to support them every step of the way.
6. What do you believe is the greatest potential of chiropractic care?
For me, the greatest potential of chiropractic care lies clearly in preventive work. The goal is to support the body early on — not just to react when symptoms have already progressed. I am always amazed at the significant improvements in function that can be achieved with just a few targeted adjustments — both in terms of mobility and in promoting the body’s long-term resilience. Moreover, chiropractic care helps bring the body back to a state where it can better regulate and balance itself naturally.
7. What are your goals when welcoming a new patient? How do you chart their journey to health?
My main goal is to provide patients with a genuine impulse for a fresh start. Even in challenging cases, I am committed to always giving my very best. I also aim to help patients break old patterns and adopt new ways of thinking about their health and their bodies.
It is especially important to me to continue where others may have given up — even when the path to recovery is long and challenging. I am committed to persevering and pursuing the best possible outcome for every patient.
